    Hi everyone.
I was hoping someone could help me. Currently one of my blogs is showing whole articles on the front page. How do I change that so front page only shows about 3rd of each post, with a read more button?

I have checked all the settings and does'nt seem to be anywhere to change this.

Thats great thanks, is there any way in wordpress to set it to show a certain amount of each post as default? Rather than entering the more tag into each post?

Just put your excerpt in the "Optional Excerpt" box..that is what it's for.

you can also use the excerpt field to enter the desired content which also acts like meta description.

I'd not heard of dailyblogtips.com/homepage-excerpts-wordpress-plugin/ before, I'll check it out.

I have been using post teaser: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-teaser/

Using that I found it made me think more about my first few paragraphs, but then I wasn't sure I wanted to truncate my postings after all, so now trying them back full-size again.

    Decisions, decisions .....
    :)
