Hi, anyone here using it? How's the experience? I'm thinking of buying 1 and need to know if it lives up to what's advertised. Also does it work throughout Maharashtra & Kashmir?

    Thanks in advance

I think 3.1 mbps is too low. Theoretically, that company might advertise higher speeds but practically, you won`t get anything greater than 350 kbps....

I think you should look for something better, if available!

I don't think its even gonna give 100KB/s !! As its RELIANCE.. lol... IT just gives 10KB/s in its Netconnect.:p

Too bad service.. THey will add extra things in your bill to increase the bill. i don't like them.

I agree with above post,my friend used their net card kind of service and speed was only like 15kb/s.so do not expect much from 3Mbps as well.

Don't bother with wireless internet cards. WiFi an WiMax are flop technologies. Unless some newer technology comes along, stick to wired internet services...

I am not referring to typical wireless services guys. Reliance & Tata have both launched new (in Late march 2009) high speed cards and wanted to know if anyone was using them.

Most of the wireless servicess in India are very slow. We have no other option for the next 15 more years. At least we should be satisfied with what we have.

I went to Tata showroom and checked the demo of their service ,Phyton or Phantom something, they claim speed upto 3.1 Mbps,i checked it on speedmeter and it was around 200Kbps, not bad for wireless connection in India.

I have read reviews of it.. but the review said that BSNL has also launched similar wireless card which is better than reliance. Also BSNL is giving around 50 GB for unlimited download users whereas reliance is giving around 10 GB only. I think we should wait for #G to launched in India so that other providers can also be considered.

Ya, BSNL is best !! You can get speeds from 40 KBps to 180 KBps via a EVDO. That too at only Rs.550/month !! :)
And BSNL has already launched 3G. :)
