SEO for firefox is a great choice....I prefer using the SEOmoz toolbar which allows you to toggle "nofollow" tags in a way that you cannot with SEO for firefox
there is a firefox addon nodofollow . . you can just add it in your ff. it will help you to identify no follow and do follow links

As like you, Im always using firefox nodofollow plugin to check dofollow and nofollow link. So far it work fine
