Even if you want to PM me. Could you guys share some of your adsense success stories and website/niches? I'm having trouble making a steady $1 a day on avg.

Indeed, I would focus on getting traffic to the site first and then worry about the money. It will all come in time.

Interesting story, Tearabite. Is Google still doing FireFox referrals?

Nice to see folks who have been successful posting on DP. For every hundred people who only seem to be interested in putting others down or making fun of their efforts, there are a couple of genuinely helpful people who enjoy assisting others. That is why I read DP.

Do not waste ur time waiting ur first buck.
The best practice to follow is:
1- create ur website ( already done)
2- add useful content to it; 60% of people look for information on the internet.
3- Forget about the adsense for couple months.
4- Whenever you start seeing good traffic, you can install adsense.
Otherwise, it wont cover your hosting expenses.

BTW, no one gonna PM you regarding what niches make him/her good money, i've seen such trap before :p

    good luck

I have to agree with the other people in here. Do not focus on your Adsense earnings. May I ask what your website name is? I would like to take a look at it and see if I can help.

PM me if you dont want to post your site in the thread.

Ive just been at the game a while, though not studying it thoroughly, and can't seem to even break an avg $1 a day. my ad placement seems to be alright. I get around 500 unique a month per blog from my 3 blogs... im not sure.

btw thank you guys for actually being kind and giving me some advice. It's more than I expected after visiting some other similar forums, lol.

So backlinks huh? I'll start reading up on that.

Dedicate one month to build a great site, with lots of useful content.
Dedicate another month to promote your site, build traffic and ask for user reviews.
Money will start rolling in automatically.

Most of successful adsense publisher would stick to white hat SEO, and avoid black hat.

You can start promoting your website by commenting on other related blogs, submit to directories, submit to social bookmarking sites and link exchange. The more backlinks you have, the higher chances of getting more traffic...
