Hey guys! No more need for debating, Gtech has it all figured out!

People will simply start using condoms and being responsible! Because we live in a perfect world... maybe next he can solve the problem with drugs! Hey I got it... what if people just never tried drugs! :D

well I can see there is no arguing with you gtech, you are all knowing and what you say goes. I've made posts on this topic before, drive by I really don't care, so now we're not allowed to come and make posts when we can, we'll just be called drive by posters?

oh i am so sorry to have you focus on my post, it is obviously some worthless atheistic terrorist plot aiming at the destruction of children, you're right, as usual.

But mabye just mabye, you will consider what it might be like in a girls shoes who has recently become pregnant by accident. Have you thought about what is going throug her head...like her life, how she will live and take care of a child, how will she pay, how will she go to college, what if her boyfriend and parents don't want her to have the child, what if, what if what if.

There is more than just unresponsible kids here gtech. Mabye the condom breaks or she missed a day on the pill, mabye she was raped. What about her feelings, or do you only have Affect for yourself.

People must have the right to choose, either yes to abortion or yes to birth, whatever there choice is, IT IS THERE CHOICE. Not yours, not the governments, not your non-existant gods, it is there choice.

Mabye you've lost site of basic human rights to choose for themselves. Wheter you think its wrong, the fact is that people should be able to choose for themselves.

Women in iraq can't even have children because of the high level depleted uranium used in american military war machines. Do you think of them, those babies born with no brain, eyes, limbs, lungs, etc. Pieces of flesh that grow and come out of the womb with no life in them at all, what about them, who is their murderer, surely not abortion.

If that was a part of getting welfare, I wouldn't object. Personally, I think a parent should be able to request their daughter receiving such...it's a bit forceful but it's for their own good. Like going to school.

Norplant should be shiipped right along with the foreign aid, fix up those devloping countries

No, we just live in a hedonistic world, where people live without consequences and everyone forced to take care of them.

I'd be curious to see the numbers of fatherless pregnacies in the 50's. I'd guess it was rather low. But who knows!?

That's really the big problem...I agree with you. If the world could stop having babies you can't take care of, then we wouldn't have poverty as big as it is. Norplants are ideal, since it would lessen the need for abortions and is fairly effective.

Do you recall the percentage (of effectiveness) by any chance?

I don't think anyone has said that they put the foetus interests before the mother. I've never claimed that.

Still do you have a solution yet to the millions of extra babys or are you still figuring that one out?

    Cost:

Prices listed below was effective as of February 21, 1992.

    Implant Insertion $426
    Implant Removal $111
    Removal/Reinsertion $514

Vs lifetime of raising a child would be an awesome comparsion....?

I think Norplant would be a much better alternative to a lot of our problems....I wonder if it will ever take on that big of a role...?

Why do you guys thing contraception is the answer? Don't you think if people thought of that before then they'd just wear a condom?

We live on earth guys, not the utopia that you think we do.

well personally I think birth control should be free to everyone, but some people think that tax dollars should not be spent on such a "immoral" thing

yeah but norplant isn't like a condom, it lasts like 90 days at a clip, way more effective and more fun then condoms

I never offered a comparative choice between the baby's best interest and the mother's. What I did say, was:

Yet another misleading effort. What are we up to, about half a dozen or so now?

Answered several times throughout the post, including on the previous page when you last asked. Is your browser not refreshing posts? I've noted several times over the past year that in a topic where many posts are being made in a short time, a browser will not update it's cache with all the posts unless you refresh several times. That's the only thing I can think of, that would cause you to miss the response I gave. It was pretty detailed. I'm thinking you may have actually responded to it as well.

Birth control is free here in the UK and it certainly hasn't eliminated abortions.

People are lazy by nature, there a lots of different methods of birth control and even more excuses and reasons for why people don't use them

Well, it would be nice to allow parents the chose to have the child put that in, till they're 18. That's really not an ideal, but then again I don't know if that's politically practical.

A reasonable comment. Planned parenthood (in the US) offers free birth control, counselling, std testing, exams and other services for those less fortunate.

Well, no ones going to stop herpes, aids, etc. They'll be around till they're cured.

If people chose to be irresonsible, they'll pay.

As ferret said, it's 99.9% effective.

just imply that it's needed in welfare and in childhood and you elminate the circle. People just screw themselves, and not their children.

You can't murder what isn't human, no matter how many times you say it, it still doesn't convince me.

No, I'm looking for a serious answer

That's a great answer, bring loads of unwanted kinds into the world to 'teach' people a lesson. You don't think they won't get abandoned/left to die?
