Hello fellow digitalpoint'ers, I have decided to publicly advertise my ClickBank journal in hope that it will help to motivate me to reach my goals. My goal is to reach a whopping $100 a day in just 70 days (10 weeks) time from ClickBank alone. By my reckoning, the date in which I aim to (and will) reach this goal is the 18th June. Keep in mind that I currently generate $0 a day from ClickBank and have yet to make my first sale. Hopefully I will get the chance to post here daily with updates on my progress. Wish me luck, although i'm sure I won't be needing it
There seem to be a lot of these type of threads on this forum, unfortunately many of them do not come to any conclusion. I hope you stick to it and I wish you the best of luck.........well not luck but I wish you a good work ethic because I think that will be more important
Good luck man Just remember practice makes perfect. Organize your time wisely e.g. time to read material, time to apply it, time to study the results no matter how much you are actually told part of it is learning the ropes.
I totally agree, I've seen many of the same journal type threads die way before the goal date the OP set. You guys have my word that I'll at the very least carry this on for the full 70 days and update this thread as much as I can. Thanks for the kind words..
Make sure you have a plan on what your doing every single day. It can get overwhelming but stick to a day to day plan and you'll be fine. Good luck!
Good luck with it all and I look forward to reading it. I too have yet to make a sale but I can taste I am getting closer
I will bookmark this thread to see if you keep this up or simply give up. I think this type of thread can be extremely motivational for all of us, and I hope you will not back down from the challenge. It's not easy reaching your goal in that period of time, but it's without a doubt doable. Looking forward to reading your updates.
Good luck to you, I have read quite a lot of this type of thread lately, most disappeared, hope you will stick to it.
You haven't make a sale from CB, so what your doing first? buy domain and hosting? after that what next? sory if ask you too much, I just wanna follow what your doing
Thanks for the kind words.. Thanks, don't worry, I'll carry this through 'til the end. Yeah, I'll post my daily plan on here every morning (GMT time). Fantastic, thanks. I have a good hosting package with a reputable American company. I plan on targeting a different ClickBank product every couple of days, using various bum marketing techniques, including aricles marketing. In the near future, I also plan on split-testing to see if it's direct linking or mini sites and squeeze pages that produce more $ per visitor also taking into account the time each takes to setup.
Okay, so Easter is over and the family have all finally decided to go home! DOWN TO WORK! I acquired a copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking yesterday, it seems to be working pretty well so far, even though I have a pretty poor microphone and a pretty strong east London accent. I'm going to create my first mini-site today. This is the site that relates to the first ClickBank product that I'm going to promote, I will link to it in all of my articles pertaining to the topic of the product, it'll be a blog. I've registered the domain (.com) and my goal is simply to get the the blog fully functional before the end of the day. I'll be using wordpress. Hopefully, later on I'll also have some time to write (or speak) 4 or 5 articles aswell. Feel free to ask me anything (except which product i'm promoting)
Really sorry that I haven't updated this journal for a while! Since starting i've tried to stay away from these forums so I can use my time without spending hours reading various random threads, since it seems to be so easy to do on here . From now on, I'll update this thread once a week (probably on a sunday) so you can see how I'm doing. So, how's it gone so far I hear you ask? Product #1 At first, I tried promoting a $25 commission product that was fairly low gravity and had fairly low competition on ezinearticles, unfortunately it also had low demand and I've yet to make a sale with it, the link on ezinearticles was a direct link to the sales page. I promoted it with 6 articles, with the following stats: Views: 309 Url Clicks: 26 Sales: 0 Very low clickthrough rate even though I used call to actions and various other techniques in the resource box. I decided to call it a day on this product since I'd had barely any views and a rubbish clickthrough rate and all it was doing was making me less motivated! I may go back to it at some point though. Product #2 This was a mid-high gravity product that is extensively advertised throughout the web, it's also high ticket product with around a $75 commission. After creating a pre-selling minisite promoting this product, I uploaded 4 articles just the other day and the high demand for this niche is clear. Since Friday i've had the following stats for my 4 articles: Views: 766 Url Clicks: 236 Much better CTR (on one of my articles i've even got a ctr of over 50%) as well as lots of views, lots of people are obviously interesting in this topic. According to StatCounter, since Friday i've had 294 unique visitors to my minisite (not sure why or how this is more than 236, maybe it's an error with statcounters cookies?) And once my visitors are on my minisite, around 55% provide me with a hop to the sales page of the product. So far, out of around 150 hops, I've only had 1 sale, even after pre-selling the product on the my mini-site, but still... $75 is $75 however you look at it. I'm hoping that by the time i'm at 500 hops for this product, my conversion rate will have improved to around 1-2% or even higher. See you here next week guys.
I use statcounter and I think the problem is when someone with an ISP that uses a proxy server like AOL visits your site, statcounter counts each pageload as a unique visit. But dont quote me on that its just my theory
You may be right there, any accurate realtime alternatives then? GA irritates me with the huge delay, although I guess it would prevent me from wasting hours checking my stats every 2 minutes!
I wish you the best in your $100 a day quest. It is a very difficult challenge. hope you stick to it.
Not sure, Ive only ever used statcounter, apart from the problem with the proxy servers I am very happy with them and its free!
