Firefox is the best browser. The pluses and minuses according to me are: plus: easy navigation lots of addons reliable no crashes minus needs lots of ram memory
If you need a portable and secure solution then google chrome is for you. if you need a customized and full of necessary addons, use firefox.
Firefox is not the best. Check here: http://interestsblog.blogspot.com/2009/03/why-ie-is-sometimes-more-usable-than.html
I use Firefox at home, but at work due to different softwares basically being designed to work in IE, we use IE. FireFox continues to grow on me, but still getting usd to the way images load on a page.
Its not the best, at least not for me. Why? 1.- the rendering engine sucks. Crashes (crashes some times when i tried to pay using paypal, per example). 2.- The download sucks What is good about FF is the possibilitie to customize much. In fact i found my self using FF with a IE Tab very often. That show that i like the browser, but no the engine. IE is good in the engine, but very bad in the browser container.
And there is the issue. If that were true for everyone, no one would use it. It's your issue. Who knows what you mean by that. If it sucked, no one would use it. Don't know what that means either but the first part is wrong. There is more than one engine in every browser but IE has the worst of them all. 11 years behind all other browsers and Microsoft has promised nothing about ever improving it.
I use FF last ver ..... end from past 2 years im using FF until that i used Opera .... the comments are: IE ....... no good at enything .... his luck is that come whit the windows if not .... not existed . Opera nice fast++ - not to much add-ons FF nice fast+ - all pulgin you whant (on my laptop with 512MB ram, after 1 hour eat half of memory ( end i need to restart the browser) this is the part i hate in rest all good.
