You might like to check out a Squidoo lens I wrote: An illustrated guide for creating attractive websites. It illustrates what I've come to regard as some of the most important features of good design: using a good visual in an effecive manner, using a slogan, using borders and shading to tie the website together and using headings and sub-headings to break up the website.

I have a copy of the SitePoint e-book, it helps me a lot when I first starting to build a website with Photoshop.

Have anyone ever feel sucks at your own design after a couple weeks?

Working late at night is usually the best time for me to work. Sometimes in the day my 3 month old son cries and it's hard to concentrate. A good time would be around 10PM - 2AM, anytime after 2 I start hitting my head on desk (falling asleep lol)

On the contrary for me, I tried to avoid work later than 12:00pm. All the time I worked later will be compensated on the 2nd day by sleeping.

    Not everyone suited working late,
some of them are very productive in morning.

I admit myself is a night owl,
so working midnight is the best...
(which cause me to sleep in morning)

lol, your wife is saying nothing with your sleep habits?
