$50 SEO Company Logo Contest

The company name is Top Ranking SEO .com

Here are some things to think about- these are images that come to my mind-
Think arrows, mountains, peaks, "king of the mountain," competitions, trophies, pyramids etc.




Rules-
Winner to provide a layered psd file.
Submit all entries in the thread so all can benefit.
Payment will be by PayPal, but if need another way let me know via pm first.
Artwork must be original or show me where to get the license.
The logo is to include the .com, do not leave it out
Do not use the website name without spaces in the thread, or link to the website, obviously images are fine.

Can I submit a Layered 300 dpi Illustrator AI/EPS file instead of PSD?

There are no images in these yet because I wasn't to sure of what would fit in nicely with them.
But I have found some nice vectors that would suite these above. (There's a nice pyramid.)

PS. VectorStock images have the license which allows them to be used as logos for comercial purposes.
PSS. If you like the above samples and you don't want any of the vector stock images then I could come up
with some original artwork but I will need some feedback on the above.

You realise that istock don't allow their images to be stolen and used in logos right? You've even left the istock watermark on them.

 

Ahh I didn't realize the fact that they do not allow these images to be used in logos.
I have just looked at "Artwork must be original or show me where to get the license." so I thought it would be okay but then I have read the TOS on iStockPhoto.
I will take these down and resubmit them with different images. Thanks for letting me know.

Ok this contest is going to be tough to give detailed feedback on, because it is such a cliche of a logo generally speaking.

I will also most likely award 2 winners. One for specifically toprankingseo.com and one as a general logo, where i can change the name for a new logo. I own several seo type names and need a good looking versatile logo where i can just change the name. For 2nd place, i will pay $10 for this type of logo, which most below qualify. You don't have to sell it if you don't want to at that price, it is your option.

General Feedback-
Probably looking for something that is more than just the stylized name and pic, try to incorporate the name and graphic together. (but not required, who knows what the winner will actually look like)

Would like to see siloutes of a business person, maybe on top of the mountain, riding an arrow, dominatin a chart or something.

Try to introduce the element of competition.

Don't use pastel colors, this is a masculine business, so the logo should be masculine.

tightwad- i am not familiar with that format, if most people can use it in their designs and i can edit the layers it is fine

dzt6781 - ok idea, but not executed well, not sure what to advise.

WhiteCloud - thanks for the resource, but i want the work done for me, not pick a graphic out.

hecky- please include .com, the graphic is nice, but not doing it for me

Aderain- I am looking for something a little more original, and probably more integrated into the name

bs2008- nice simple design, i like it, but not sold on it.

PHPGator - ok, but not doing anything for me.

zachxor- i like the integration, but it's not quite enough design wise

xxxplatinium- include .com, looks good, but not a fan of it.

WhiteCloud- i like the integration, but it needs more design and finesse

Creations4You- i like the mountain element, but it doesn't work and reminds me of a caution or warning sign

shizzie- include the .com, nice, but not enough for me

FlatDesign- looks great, i like the color separation on seo. I like the graphic as well, the only thing, is it looks a little too familiar, but maybe that's ok

TightWad - include the .com, i like the text stylizing, i like the graphic, but it's message is unclear.

AlbertMARKET- too relaxed, vacation like, needs to be forceful, business like.

The running time of the contest will most likely be short, will most likely end with in 2 days.

i will give a 16 hour warning prior to ending.
