i started using adsense a month ago, and i am promoting my websites really well, so well that my traffic grows at 7% a day more less which means every ten days i double my page impressions, visitors, and therefore earnings... so my concern is if i keep growing at this pace in 2-3 months im gonna have a major increase on my traffic lets say from 50,000 page impressions a month to 2 millions, do u guys think google will red flag my account or ill get banned because of this? everything is legit... also, is it true the more you check your earnings the less money you make?

If all your traffic are coming from verifable sources (no blank referrers, traffic exchanges, or Myspace bulletin boards) then you're fine. Yes, they will redflagged you if your earnings jump dramatically, but as I said, if it's all legit, there is no problem.

As to your second question: Are you kidding me? LOL

May be they are bad as he said they are red flagged, that means they count it like when you spam people to get traffic ...

Is there a rule of Adsense against myspace?
Never knew that, is it just myspace, or those kinds of sites in general?

I'm just going by experience. People with sudden earning increases based on Myspace Bulletin Board referrals seems to be in danger of invalid click accusations. Just don't be surprised...

I'm only referring to traffic derived from Myspace bulletins, etc. Please keep in mind that I'm only speaking from experience, and I have no proof of this suspicion. I could be completely wrong, but I've just heard a lot of Myspace sites that gets traffic from Myspace Bulletins running into trouble via invalid clicks...

maybe some people post myspace bulletins tellling other people to visit their sites and click on the ads... im sure google takes a look at your numbers and if they see that a ridiculous amount of people that come from the bulletin click on the ads something you're doing something suspicious...

How did you promote your site in myspace?
Can you share your promotion techniques in myspace?

i used myspace and i went from 1000ish to around 32k visits a day and MASSIVE MASSIVE jump in earnings, and i got no accusation letters, maybe i just didn't get noticed, but i would say give it a try or at least until they send you a letter.

As I said, I'm only going by what I've heard/seen. How long ago did you get this jump? Have you been paid for this period?

If you've already been paid for the jump (are we talking $1000s of dollars here?), then you're in the clear. The people I've talked to who have run into trouble were making high $100s/day with their Myspace sites thanks to bursts of traffic coming from Myspace boards, etc.

yeah MySpace bulletins could increase site traffic, but like many said its untargetted since most posts come up with a title like "OMG im pregnant!" or "Biggest Liar Ever" just to get people's attention and actually click on the link to your site. I dunno but i heard from another forum that google has been tracking down sites whose traffic comes majority from MySpace bulletins...I'm actually kinda paranoid in adsense since they ban anyone without prior notice.
