Actually, you can use VPS and still save the resource to yourself. Look for a xen vps. This way you will know the host are not overselling (as xen virtualization does not allow oversell) and you have the resource to yourself just like a dedicated server.
He means exist for sure. Think of it. If there are no web filters such as websense, why would people use proxy? I mean, sure people at home would use it to surf porn and not getting caught but major traffic are from people who are behind web filters. People at school and such. This is where a cool developer thought of something nice called "proxy" and make it possible for us to earn from it while giving a service to those who need it. Of course, ads on a proxies is like water. You can't survive without water and your proxies can't survive without ads. Anyway, take a look of this. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=11106012#post11106012 He said the site is not proxy. Yet, I see he submit the site to several listing site. Luckily that I manually go through each submissions on my site so not working proxies get denied.
Just so you know, the roots of proxies go ALOT deeper than this. There are many other (legit and not so legit) reasons to use proxies both at home and in networks you dont control so you probably wont ever see it: workplaces, offices, isps, phone providers etc etc . Most of these reasons existed before any one even considered making proxies to gain money in any way. Websense its self is a proxy, and they did not invent proxies and neither did the person who thought about getting around websense, because this tihng had already existed for many many years and it was called a proxy
Hi there it's my first time on VPS. I want to know how it load there fast or slow. Please check http://www.darapper.com One more thing, my host provide only one IP, is there any problem or do I need to have more than one? thanks
I would ban sites like rapidshare, megaupload...etc because theres people who use proxies to download files from there (unless you've already set a download limit - if you haven't then do it ) Hey, yeah I sold theproxycommunity.net to the Proxy.org owner. I can't really say how much, sorry! But I'm going to be sticking around there, some come pay us a visit
Yes 3 month is the min requirement whenever you selling a proxy site. But if i'm the buyer,i will need to see at least 6 month average earning coz the proxy biz earning is very violate.
for shared proxy hosting: techentrance, monsterprox, lacehost, strikedata, hagio host, fusedhosting.net and tmzhosting for VPS: wdservers, FDCservers
yeah. I am hosted in CloakHost and it looks great. Still thinking if I will continue my proxy sites.. It is not much earning.
Looks like there is something wrong over Glype. They have now got their main site back working again but have yet to fix their forum.
