I am planning to write a sales page for my writing services but I am wondering what should an effective sales page be. Could you give me some ideas and samples?
Describe your prospective clients' problem. It might be a lack of compelling content; it might be the lack of a decent budget. Say how you provide a solution to their problem. Excellent writing, low prices - maybe both. Tell them what to do - i.e. contact you now! The beauty of this is that you are writing a sales page about your sales-page-writing service. If they find YOUR page compelling, you can also do it for them, and they will contact you.
You can put those links in a signature here joycescape, it'll save you some time Take a look at other copywriters and see what you can learn from their sales pages... but if you have to ask this question, you're probably not quite ready yet
simple and easy to understand big points easy comfortable graphics just something that is easy to understand in 10 seconds because most people have a short attention span
Uhhh.. Well yeah. I thought that too, at first. I think what is being researched is an example of a good sales page. I have been a writer for a long time, but I often use the framework of another text to inspire me. It is always original copy after I am done. Just a little inspiration is all one needs.
Follow this guide: AIDA. Step 1: A - Attention Step 2: I - Interest Step 3: D - Desire Step 4: A - Action Details: Attention: Attract their attention (so that they read further) ... you must be good in writing good headlines & first lines/paragraphs Interest: Tell them what are the benefits and advantages (rather than telling them about the features) Desire: Convince them that your product/service is what they want and desire; and would satisfy them Action: Tell them what to do next. Click the button. Contact us. Things like that. Sorry, no example. Good luck.
An effective sales page should be compelling and clearly outline what you will be offering the person using your services. The more detailed you are, the better it usually is. However, people do have short attention spans, so capitalize on a great headline, and then quickly offer what you can do, perhaps even bulleted style and then provide a small or several samples so people can see your work. That way you won't get people requesting samples all the time and eliminates people who request freebies in essence. Make sure the samples are posted on a website or blog to prevent people from using it as their own.
Simple: Show Me the Samples! Seriously. Follow this concept. If I was to walk into an office tomorrow to sell them my services, do you think I'd give them a sales letter or some 5-minute hype speech about all my clients and degrees? Nope. What sells them? Come on. You know this. ::: Your portfolio ::: Same thing online. Focus less on watered-down buzz words like "quality" and "pro," which are being used by every amateur hack on the planet and focus more on your work. Break down your work by type (newsletters, radio ads, whatever). For each section give a little talk about what you can do for them, your experience and most importantly, samples. Regardless of what anyone tells you, your work is what puts the $ in sale. If your market is going to be lower end ($1-$3 an article), then you don't have to do much at all. Your sales page could be like: I write articles for $2. Here are 10 samples. You buy now. Seriously, writers (who tend to be piss poor marketers) over-think everything. I don't care who the client is, what the writing is for or who it is to. There's only one thing anyone cares about: RESULTS. Remember that. Step One: You need [insert item] done. Step Two: Yes, I can do that. Step Three: Here's what I'll do for you. Step Four: Service the client. Oh, don't refer to yourself in the 3rd person. Clients are buying YOU.
when i write a sales page for my client...i always ask them for a sample in their field which they like...it gives me an idea hwat exactly he wants...then chat with him for at least an hour...to know each and evry detail of the product...and then...boom...write the page...oh god i love writing sales page...!!
