Dont add too much of keywords. Just 1 or 2 keywords may be enough. If we add too many keywords, then it may goes to spam case.
Forum signatures provide excellent visibility... Of course, sticking to the relevant niche helps not only from SEO point of view, but also in generating good organic traffic! Regards, RightMan
I had tried many techniques to make my website popular. But, I don't find keywords for my website. Is there any method to get my website more popular??
Signature links are GREAT! But, only if you have a massive amount of them. And I would only use the keywords that get me the most traffic.
my keywords are fortune cookies, personalized fortune cookies and custom fortune cookies. Is this considered repeating, or do they take in effect that they all are different combos?
I think it would be wiser to have the anchor text of "fortune cookies" point to the homepage and the anchor text of "custom fortune cookies" point to the page about customized fortune cookies.
Hi, In my opinion you should try signatures used with 2-3 key words is good enough, and there are many sites in the market that have been doing really well from signature links, always go for high PR links. It really helpful to you.
Agreed. Forum sigs are great for backlinks, while I do show the back links it hasn't done much for my PR yet.
I haven't been doing "black hat" but I know for a fact that what you're saying is true. Here is what I tell folks about that: That is another myth that gets passed around a lot. Sure, it's good to have relevant links and Google recommends it, but links that are not "relevant" also count. The Drudge Report was put on the "map" the day he broke the news that President Clinton was having an...er, indiscretion with a young intern named Monica Lewinsky. THOUSANDS (maybe even HUNDREDS of thousands) of sites linked to him that day. Many of them were not in his "niche". The other day I challenged my Physical Therapist (I have an old ankle injury) that I could get him on Page One of Google for his keywords. He was at the bottom of Page 6. I did his links one night and then went to bed. The next day I got up and checked and he was NUMBER ONE in Google for ALL his keywords. Not one of the sites I added his link to was "relevant" for Physical Therapy or even Health and Wellness. Yet they still worked that well that fast. If you leave out great sites because they are not "relevant" to your niche, you are leaving a lot of money on the table. I'd use them all. I should add that at this time it's been several months since I did the work for my Physical Therapist's website and he is STILL number one for all his keywords. I've taken a brand new article to Page One of Google overnight too; with what would be considered NON relevant links. I am number three out of 76.8 million for my name, Angela in Google. Again, with NON relevant backlinks
Oh really!!! That is surely a big surprise for me. Reading your incident, it does sound as if we all are barking up the wrong tree. I have been taking so much of pains to search and search for relevant sites and all the effort suddenly do not look all that worth... Regards, RightMan
