wake up, all players insult each other during play. if someone insult you, insulte him. Its not the first time that zidane doing things like this.
Thanks. Pretty interesting interview. Though I would have liked to know more about what was said between Zidane and Domenech and the other French players after the match, how they reacted etc...
Finally Zidane has spoken http://www.theage.com.au/news/soccer/insults-to-mother-provoked-zidane/2006/07/13/1152637806788.html
Zidane saves Materazzi life !!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQAv1F4NOFY&feature=Views&page=1&t=t&f=b
I rooted for italy and still will in the future but the french fans here have convinced me. No player that insults italy's opponents should be allowed on the italian team. The italian team has a history of a higher standard of play and it is only right that it has a higher standard of behavior as well. I celebrate the italian victory but Matarazzi's father should beat him with a wooden spoon. Italian newspapers are saying Zidane insulted Materazzi's mother first but, even so, I still say the italian football team should demand their palyers not engage in taunting no matter what. You want to hurt your opponent? You should do it with your feet on the field by scoring goals not hurling insults.
u said me Im an idiot, can i headbutt you? take it easy. You can win the next worldcup, im not serious lololol
Shhhhhhhhhhh! Don't tell anyone but I managed to get my hands on some secret Italian Training footage! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccDyp2aRRCg
**News Flash** Police have found the body of Sophie Ellis Bextor head butted to death in the flat of the French World Cup captain, they say 'It's Murder On Zidane's Floor'. Lame I know but I laughed when I heard it ahahaha.
I think many North Americans were stunned when they heard that Materazzi had said some things about Zidane's family. I'm an Italian fan (woohoo), but I must tell you that Materazzi is not an angel. He plays violently, however on the world stage he didn't show that (his red card was really questionable . .. even the sports commentators on my TV said so). Anyway, people who actually play sports will understand that many things get said during a game. Players do this to take their opponents mind off the game. Hey if you can push someones mind to alter them just enough, you have an advantage. Zidane is 34, he's played in Italy and he's played long enough to understand how much verbal abuse any player on the pitch can take. I could understand if Zidane was 21, but he's 34 and an experienced veteran. Nothing that Materazzi says justified Zidane's actions and Zidane should know how to deal with verbal abuse by now (though I'm not saying that what Materazzi said was right). Skinny
Do you like the Zidane song? Coup de Boule (Zidane) http://www.koreus.com/media/zidane-coup-boule-mix.html
