    Michael,

Pay no real attention to fryman... he goes to every context ad forum and places the same ignorant messages. Thats what he seems to do all day. Seems like he does searches for them. I've even seen some his exact posts over in Yahoo. I think perhaps he's like 13.

I'm not sure what the exact rules are for the referal buttons, but it sure looks to me like you are "encouraging users to click" on this page.

    http://www.wegotthis.com/partners.htm

Even if is is okay to encourage users to click on the referal buttons, I'd never post the text below, with your ads directly below the sites- Depending on how well you had those ads blended, it could confuse the user- too close to being over the line.

"Check out some of the sites that are running Ads by Google and Generating Revenue"

Thanks for that.... I would have never caught that. All this time I've been reviewing the wrong site. That was something I just did too. I'm an Idiot. I think I've gotten rid of everything questionable.

The devil is in the details

Even the grandest project depends on the success of the smallest components. ;)

I probably will never get my account back even though I cleaned everything up. I can't even sleep.

I just read this entire thread and it scares the crap out of me. Heaven forbid that happens to me. I just started really promoting sites that use adsense for revenue and just had our first $100 month this month, but still. I've put in around 300 hours developing the 3 or 4 sites we use adsense on to get that $100 this month. If I lost my account, I'd cry and by the sounds of it Shannon was doing a hell of a lot more than $100 per month via adsense.

I think google does the click attacks, so they can screw over people when they get alot of money. So that they dont have to pay them :)
IVe never heard of any advertiser getting there money back.
