    Hey guys,

I am having website named http://www.rightwaysolution.com

i am having good rank for many keywords in google and Yahoo too.

But I am wondering why my all traffic coming from Google ? I am not able to understand whats wrong with Yahoo as my keywords Rank high in yahoo then also i do not get traffic from yahoo.

I am getting only 1% of traffic from Yahoo..

How to get more traffic from Yahoo ? And does Yahoo really gives good traffic thats the question arise in my mind now.

    Thanks

First of all, most people use google, not yahoo. So if at any point you are getting more traffic from yahoo, you are doing something wrong. Second, yahoo is just weird like that. They have there own system and rules. If i were you i wouldnt worry about them for now, especially if you are just starting out. Optimize for google first, then all the others.

Are you sure you have very similar rankings on Google and Yahoo? You should analyze your website logs/analytics and see which keywords are sending you all of your Google traffic. Then check the Yahoo rankings for those keywords. Perhaps you have some similar rankings, but likely only for some of your keywords.

It's the keywords in Yahoo, but Yahoo is disappointing for most users anyway.

Hmm...isn't it against laws of competition that google is the default search box setting for firefox and other browsers?

This is because Yahoo is not a search engine - but a PAID DIRECTORY.

You need to pay to get good rankings in Yahoo.

The Google business model is much better........

Yahoo isn't that bad. Look, you have to go after keywords that people actually search. If no one is searching the words you focus on, than what is the point.

It is depend on the keyword search volume. Some keyword is not being search and therefore it can only generate very less traffic eventhrough you are rank high

Most of your traffic will come from google, because the majority of the people use google as as their primary search engine.

On average, google sends my site about 30X the traffic that yahoo does.

yahoo is weaker than google and it will take you some time to start receiving traffic from it. Work on those backlinks and give it some time :)

Google is alot easier and managable, I find Yahoo alot more confusing.

I suggest you optimize your site for Google.

i think there is no problem with google or yahoo traffic i depend upon search engine may be its just becoz most of the ppl use google to search something as you can see i have lil blog and its just 2 months old but whatever i did i just concentrate on my keywords and i m at top you may check it as follows

    blogsearch.google.com ......... keyword : bollywood movies

    au.search.yahoo.com............keyword : bollywood movies latest

    my blog is

    maliknet.blogspot.com

So I think you will have to revise the words as well.

Funny thing is, Yahoo bots crawl like scavengers...all the time, thousands a day, yet I only get about 3% from Yahoo. I don't understand that at all. Why crawl so much and give up so little?
