My pc is working from past 19 hours OMG

My PC is always turned on for at least a few days ( 2-5 ), but traffic is not even close to yours

 

For those of rambling about the wrong spelling of internet... Only the last word "status" comes from the system. The rest is what the user sets the connection name as.

In my case it's "BSNL Status" and on another line it's "Connection to hathway at hathway status"

not new. i left my computer on 24 hours if i download a lot of big size files

 

19 hours is nothing compared to my pc, I have yet to reboot it this month. My record was about a month of continuos use.

 

Its usual here as well but the main problem is sometimes net get disconnected so i can beat the record of using PC for more thn 11 days if and only if net permits me to do so

Talking about uptime the record seems to be almost 12 years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uptime for a OpenVMS Server. That's really impressive.

 

I think landmark of bordello! became a bit low because many of people crossed up to 24hrs non-stop

 

That's not good...think of the environment.

 

Mine's been on since 2008... I hardly ever restart...

Let alone turn it off!

I've had my PC up for more than 2 weeks before. lol 19 hours isn't a big deal.

My PC is not on for more than 15 hours till now !

May be in future i can use it for long time.

 

That is surely some record! Imagine a machine running continuously for 12 years.. during which the owner if unmarried, could get married and have a son who after getting 10 years older, would be sitting in front of the machine trying to figure out, if the machine needs a break from running the electricity through it!

but what if the main is aged or already married ???

 

I never turned off my PC and minimun 7 movies are on download all the time. May be my PC cursing me but still working for me. Broadband company changed my plan in bill and I recieved bill of Rs.67000. Later I get it corrected and paid Rs.900. They charged me general plan. Big difference.

 

Thats nothing. I almost never turn off my pc.

 

My computer has been running well over a month already.

 

hmmm...my pc has been running for over a week now. maybe its time to shut-it down!!
