    well who says it won't

there is an old saying, all good things will come to an end and so does all bad things,

instead they all get replaced by new good thigns and new bad thigns..

so no worries, there will always be a google, and always be a microsoft....

I think the slide show should have been titled "Googles stock could go down", not google will die. Most of the points in the slideshow were about product innovation, getting their share and investment. If google came out with the best phone, computer, TV, search engine, and car that everyone had that is not what the world needs. This is capitalism, you can make something and it could be the next best thing, they don't all have to come from google.

Google isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Twitter, however, will die.

In my opinion google should aspect some down times especially on their share hold but to say that Google will die is simple speculation.

LOL, I was joking, but it's true. Sites which are popular today probably won't be around tomorrow. But Google isn't just popular, it IS the internet right now.

I hope Google dies in a twisted, bloody, horrific hell fire. Hate 'em. Yes, I said hate. Really do, they are scum.

It will take a long time, but I think someone may overtake Google within about 10 years. Google has shown that they can be quite sloppy. Their arrogance may end up being their downfall. They are so far ahead of everyone else that they probably feel quit invincible. Eventually there will likely be the same kind of backlash that microsoft faced as Google becomes more of a corporate entity. Provided that there is a very good alernate search engine by then, many people will likely switch.

it should die now , like financial crash or maybe something like that , they are pretending like they own the entire internet

see how many copyrights/DMCA notices against google ,

    http://www.chillingeffects.org/dmca512/search.cgi

just fill "google" in keyword and click on submit search you will see 1319 results (at the time of posting )

Everyone hates Google! But Google is the only search site which brings traffic ... why not hate Yahoo or MSN?

Sure, why not. Because Yahoo and MSN did not STEAL 250 dollars from me with no recourse or explanation. If they did, I would say the same. However, Yahoo did do a bait and switch on me. $1.99 domain, then I was paying $9.95 OK, no sweat. But then they switched it to $34.95 a year out of the blue. They stink. I moved everything to Go Daddy.

The search engines and free junk they do? Fine. Their business ethics? Questionable. Does that sum it up better?

Well I don't think that everyone hates google, but there's one thing that is certain the bigger they get the harder others will work to level the playing field. We've seen this happen time again and again. More allegations will be aimed towards Google and I do believe that all the pending suits and other concerns will create even larger headaches for the search engine giant that could potentially create other problems unforseen at this time. I just think it's a matter of time before we see another major player come into focus.

There's always someone else that's just as hungry to get in while the big dogs sit comfortably at the top of the mountain.

Bigger you are, the harder you fall. Google has made stupid, stupid errors in judgment. 30 million for YouTube? Waste of money. Two years ago they were planning a trip to Mars. Good riddance. No one is invincible. Do I here AIG crying from the gates of hell? Yup. Oh... General Motors too? Poor things.
