The site norbreckcastle.com currently ranks on page 34 for this keyword, where I would like to see it on page 1. Let me get this clear, you want to jump from page 34 to page 1 and you are only willing to pay that person $25 and a link? How cheap can you be? If that resulted in just one extra hotel booking, that would have more than paid for itself. On page 1 you stand to make much more money than that though. Get real and offer realistic compensation. Nobody wants to help you out for slave labour prices.
As I can see, the keyword you target is not that competitive but the sad thing is that your competitors are well-optimize for that particular keyword. Being on the page 1 would be a tough job, It would take lots of money and link-building efforts for this.

I'll reiterate what everyone else has been saying: for $25 and link to go from 34 to 1 on Google is not an attractive nor good offer at all. Listen to what people have been saying and look at your competition on the first page of your keyword. I would see how many backlinks with their keyword as the anchor text they have and how their SEO is like. Learn from them how to get to the top. Mind you, it will still takes months to do that yourself.
