After a year of a being an affiliate and being somewhat successful I have created my own product for clickbank.

And now I turn to you guys for help especially from other vendors. I would like any constructive criticism on my site and product. Please don't be to harsh(my first website ever from scratch). I feel like the site is missing something. Also is the price too high for this kind of information? Any tips would be helpful. I truly want this to be successful for me and the affiliates. Thanks for your time.

1 main problem with your product: COMPETITION

You probably created your product based on some other publisher's success, and on the same lines many others have done so as well (Check the marketplace, so many clone products that are virtually like yours).

The MAIN problem is not your design or copy (which have room for improvement too), but there are so many products like yours that its very very difficult to attract affiliates if you dont have an amazing product that converts like crazy:- And to have such a product you need lot of experience and as you said you dont have any.

Don't blame yourself, many people create their own product since they see others achieving success, not knowing that its a waste of money since the more successful others are the more difficult is to compete against them. (Especially when they have lot of gravity and an army of affiliates)

My advice to you is dont waste too much time on an unsuccessful product, but create another one in a less competitive niche and you will have a greater probability to do well (better being a big fish in a small pond then a small fish in a bid one!)

    Good Luck!

Re-designing is superficial, it dosent land sales. Check the top product in this niche which have a crappy design and yet manage to achieve much greater results, more than any other website with a far superior design.

Does this tells you how important a good design is? not much...

I never heard anyone buying a digital product just because the design is good ;)

Design is an aspect of your success, but the must of your success depends on the product quality.

We never heard anyone having success story just because the design, especially those who copy others.

Most CB product are successful because of joint effort of merchant and affiliates.
Attracting affiliates is one of important aspect after you had tested your product(As far as sales are concern)

Thanks for the replies. I think I will update the affiliate page and do some revisions to the sales page to see if that helps at all.
