Hey guys, Look at this website and tell me why one page europeword.com/partners.php has no PR not even indexed while other have PR4. Any ideas how to fix this ? Thanks
Perhaps it has not been indexed, or something is going on. If it is not that it's not indexed and it is not Google who is causing the problem, most likely, the page has no rank. Remember each page has its' own individual page rankings.
is the page new,if not i would go with this: it is not that the page has out bound links, just that those links may be for exchange.
google like every pages dude, thing is there should be interlink with home page with that page or other internal page so pr is passes from one page to another.
The external links shouldn't be a problem - there's not too many of them. I think there are certain "poison words" that google doesn't like much. Pages with words like: links, resources, partners, affiliates, and directory never seem to get pageranks - at least not unless they're very old and established. CHange the URL of the page so it does not have the word partners in it. Use a nonsense word like "part.php". Also, I see you have the word "partners" in the title tag and in big letters on top of the page. Remove those, and I bet you get a pagerank before you know it. Also, take the word "partners" off of the inbound links to the page. Instead, use another phrase or term, like "more sites" or "Our friends". If you want to include the word "partners" at the top of the page, just make it a graphic instead of text. Note also: other words Google doesn't like include "feedback" and "contact." Notice your feedback page isn't ranked either. Again, use phrases like "Write to us" or "say hello" or something like that. I don't necessarily think poison words are punishing your site... I just think Google doesn't care to keep them indexed well because they don't want these pages to appear in the SERPS. And - do you really care if people land on your partners page anyway? *shrug* Good luck. P.S. Congrats on the PR5 - nice job with SEO.
Thank you fireboat. I also think that one of the reason is content. There is nothing on that page that is "unique" just few lines that other websites gave to me. I am sure they give the same lines to all their partners. Google doesnt like it. Well, i will change the link name and some of those words and see what happens. P.S. i dont care if people wont see my contact page and etc but partners pages i want to have some PR. I need to reward my partners in some way, right ? Thanks
That page is indexed in google all right. But it was indexed only on the 1st of april. Wait some more time to gain PR.
Good point about content. Very often the "description" that webmasters give is worded exactly the same as the "description" they gave to their other 10 link partners. Definitely change the link name and words - that strategy works well for me. As you can see by this example, I've had trouble getting PR on my contact page as well. STW contact And I DO have unique content on it. I think it's because of contact.html being in the url and because it's in the title tag and header and all of that. Contact is a poisonous word, IMO. I just dismissed it as "who cares if my contact page has a PR?". But on your page, for the sake of your partners, you will definitely want to have a PR. Another idea - I created a separate site for link partners. When I started to get too many, I didn't want google to start downgrading my site and viewing it as a link farm. So now I stick most of my exchanges on a separate pageranked site. It also avoids two-way exchanges and helps build three-way exchanges. G'luck!
My site, futurespress.com, is also. Its main page has PR3, but other pages are not. I don't know why. But, is it really matter? If someone visits your main page, he must be go around to see what next?
Gary - Futurespress has a PR3, with many PR1 internal pages- which is good. The site could benefit from some improved SEO - like using a different title tag for each page, and more/longer written content on each page. It does matter - you want customers to land on the main page AND the internal pages through Google. The contact page may not matter - but all the other pages have a chance to pull in new visitors. Good luck.
This is normal problem.. Google taking time to update in all datacenters.. once finish updation u will get pr.. normally taking months for it
