In my opinion... IE performs much better on Windows based PCs than the ex-Google backed Firefox. And plug-ins are fairly useless and seem low quality after a while compared to whats effectively working at the time.
Based on speed, in my opinion, Google Chrome dominates by a mile and if you are a techie person who needs add ons and such, it's good to go with Firefox.
I hope they will bring some kind of add ons and plugins to chrome WITHOUT significantly slowing it down.
Hi, I use both Firefox and Flock. Flock uses almost the same plugins that firefox uses - But I find Flock is more useful in social media marketing - most of the social media sites are built into flock - just one click to facebook. flikr etc and you can see at a glance who's online without actually going to the site.
Frankly, I like working on many tabs at the same time (sometimes 10 tabs open) and Firefox gets on my nerves at that point, so I always end up opening a backup IE window in Case I have to kill firefox for excessive memory and CPU usage...
IE is a pile of crap, Firefox is a memory hog with features and Opera is the best browser ever, faster, uses half the memory of firefox and hasmore features out of the box.
I find Firefox The best With all tools and addons I know many sites are not compatible with firefox, but it is fault of webamsters not firefox
I love FF very much. I use IE just once only to download the FF. That's why I call IE is FF downloader I just post the reason in here
i dont like chrome at all.i think that only thing i dont like about google.love firefox and hate IE.just my opinion
If you want proper rendering, use Konqueror, for speed try KMeleon - but what you're going to miss is your firefox add-ons, with time these add-ons eventually become a part of the very way you use not only the internet (twitterfox, greasemonkey, cooliris, tabmix+, foxtab) but also your desktop (statusbar scientific calculator, gears, pong!, phonetic input).
Firefox is best for browsing. I use it from the 2.14 version. Grete in Ubuntu. Some time I use firefox in ubuntu 8.10 for some sites... User friendly... Try Safary for windows too, not to grate as firefox 3
