I bought it too and I've earned 2.89$ already... But I won't buy it anymore until the holiday ends :)
So, anyone knows how the filters in the school and job work?

Nice but crowded with ads. No doubt you will get lot of clicks. My suggestions:
    - Made the spot where there are 2 square banner ads to have a placeholder so ads would not looks like out of place.
    - The bottom 728x90 ad, remove the border.

AND..rather than charging people for that template, you could hardcode your link onto the footer and distribute your template for free. :D

I just created a new proxy, my first attempt at a brandable long-term proxy. I don't plan on advertising it for a while, until break is over. What do you guys think: http://www.guardtunnel.com

1)What does it mean "placeholder"? Some background you mean?
2)And, about free template, yeah, it is good idea, I would like to do this, but I am sure, most of the proxy makers would delete my links and it would be nothing good for me :(

    It is nice.

I guess websense software is the biggest enemy.

Next question is how websense identifies those proxies :D

Easy to use but not accurate. I prefer GeoIP.

I guess he meant something like "border" or "container" :)

WebSense uses a simple URL blacklist with keyword identification.

It's the filters like 8e6 that we have to start worrying about. It uses technology that can detect any proxy script and instantly block it. Doesn't matter how new the proxy is, it like diagnoses it using HTTP patters and stuff. My school uses it, and if schools nation-wide start using it, there will be a big problem.

    Hi all,
I need advice how to calculate price for my proxies cause I want to sell it
It's ok to use http://www.dnscoop.com or base on adsense earning?
If I use adsense earning how to calculate it?

Look at your traffic. High US/CA/UK traffic will always boost the sales.
    RevenueX2 basically for low traffic.

    @Captain Tycoon,

Did you sold your site (proxycommunity) to Proxy.org?
    How much did you get?

I got 2238 visitors yesterday to modernhide.com and most of them was from US (1,605 visitors) and I earned only 3.78$... Damn, it's very bad. I guess I should change my template, what do you think?
Btw, I used 22gb traffic and I have only 100gb!!! Maybe you know hosting which allowes unlimited bandwidth?

You can't make decisions on just one day's traffic figures, need more data to test, iron out any special factors etc. For a example try to get the city distribution of your USA traffic to know whether 80% of those hits came from a single school.

Frankly, you need a good vps if you are serious about proxies. There's nothing called unlimited bandwidth. Sooner or later you get screwed.

Block the non converting traffic coz it will help you lower your BW usage.
At least use VPS if you're take this biz seriously.
But i highly recommend you use a dedicated server coz it more powerful than VPS and the resources is not shared.
