Currently Twitter is the hot thing for marketers out there. That might be the reason why google wanted to get this tool in their arsenal.
Those are some great resources. One site you missed that finds you targeted leads is the directory Twellow.com You can search through targeted groups and categories of users and grow an instant following, that is targeted to your biz. Then don't drive them away with spammy sales lines, but post a bunch of fun links etc and once in a while some light sales pitches.
twitter is definitely a great marketing tool to put in your toolkit. i have a few twitter articles and i am adding more each day. if you don't see something covered let me know and i will cover it in a future post
i still find twitter to be boring. True i tweet when ever i post a new product or announcement but its way to hyped up. Have you ever tried to get on twitter between 12pm and 5pm eastern time? its nearly impossible.
