Best Way To Market My Site

I just started recieving some ok traffic (little over 100 uniques/day) and well... I'm hungry for more.

I'm currently submitting my better posts to digg and netscape, post on forums with links in my sig, and am paying for links and banners on some smaller sites.
What else can I do?

You could leave some comments on relevant blogs and write an Article or two if you have the time.

 

Create a poll, and keep your visitors coming back.

Visit sites like yours, and offer to exchange links with them. I usually pre add them, and then ask them. You can get traffic from the exchange, and you are inderecting telling them to visit your site by offering the exchange.

 

I did all that too and I am getting very little traffic also. I am running out of steam right now.

 

You might want to try some press releases. I normally put out 1-2 a month and they give me a pretty good spike in visits, After a couple months the number of links based on the release dies down, but you normally retain some permanently.
