Well good to know But what did you do to achieve it because i see that website is now 11years old and has DMOZ listing and lot of USA traffic maintained by jordan press foundation . So now i am curious altogether to know is it recent or when and how , if u dont mind

DMOZ alone won't substantially affect your PR. My site is a bit over 5 years old and has been in DMOZ for nearly five years. With 12K backlinks it's still PR4. Don't overestimate the PR juice from DMOZ.
There are several factors that got you the pr8. 1. Domain Age 2. Updated Unique Relevant content 3. Natural link building, most stories create a buzz and are naturally linked from similar/subject related websites I would recommend you work / find a solution to the urls and website structure. It would greatly benefit your client if you'd find a way to generate keyword rich URLs for each story and the stories were archived in relevant folders automatically. Also be careful with the title tags, it seems most of the stories in the site and indexed pages have the same "Jordan Times" title, you could easily increase the unique visitors and clicks if you'd find a way to generate unique titles for each story. A news site with a sufficient amount of SEO techniques can easily get to a very high PR and attaining 8 is simply awesome. Mind sharing some of those white hat SEO techniques.
IMO DMOZ is a "trust" link rather than a PR link. PR won't go up necessarily (depends on your particular listing page/s) - but have seen SERPs rise gradually across the board before on an otherwise quiet site (SEO-wise) then discovered it had been approved for DMOZ a few weeks before.
Good to know. But i didnt get as what point you want to make or discuss? Or doing just marketing of your services anyways if its your client that I must say you have very good client and a good website to serve for.
