Veda Soft Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a scam!!!!

I hired a company who I thought was a Canadian company to perform SEO for my adult content website. Veda Soft Solutions Pvt. Ltd.


http://www.vedasoftsolutions.com claimed they will devote 3 developers to work on my site at the cost of $200 a month.

About a week later they had emailed me that the, so called, work that had been done.

I reviewed the code and they had simply stuffed my ALT tags with keywords and created a sitemap page which was nothing more than copy of my landing page with 4 links on it.

There weren't 3 developers working on this. It was just the one guy with rudimentary SEO knowledge. When I complained I asked for his phone number. He resisted for about a week and eventually he gave me his number in INDIA. When I demanded he call me as I was not going to call India, he left voice mail on my phone to which I could barely understand because of his heavy Indian accent. He claims in his emails his name is Robin Smith and that he sometimes visits the Toronto office. Yeah Right!

He also insisted that I wait 3 months for the SEO results. I understand it takes time, however I am well aware that his approach is more likely to blacklisted than more SE traffic.

I knew I had been scammed and discontinued the service with a demand for a refund of my $200.

They will not return my emails. They are scam artists…

i also scammed by another Indian company. So be aware with Indian company because most Indian Software Company is scammers, who lie and never deliver the product as they described. You’re only lost $200 but I lost $3900 and i am working on the legal issue.


Learn from your mistake. I did mine.

 

Indian companies are all scammer in my opinion. I will never hire a firm without making sure who or what I'm dealing with.

in my initial posting. The locations they give are Canada and Australia.

However the broken english sales email from a Gmail account should have been a clue.

 

it is partially your fault as well dude. Where did you saw SEO services for 200$ a month ?
You got what you paid for.

 

with so many scams going on in the SEO world, it is important to communicate with your service provider before hiring them. with few emails or phone calls, you will have an understanding of their written skills (most of the so called SEO experts from developing countries will not have good written skills) and if you manage to get them on the phone, then you will know how well they speak as well. also it is important to get a solid understanding of what will be done each month and have that in writing, atleast in email format so that you know what has been promised and what has been delivered.

 

that I didn't know Veda Soft Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was going to be outsourced gig. The $200 a month told me that. But, my primary contact was in India. This was my concern.

Had they actaully put effort into the site modification I may be still doing business. Unfortunately, I would have to call there for any type of comminication as they would not return my call. No number on their website.

All emails go to f'n India. This is coupled with the bullshit mods he did to my site is my gripe.

 

Honestly to me all SEO companies are scams, the prices are way to high. Just learn it yourself. Investing in yourself is the best route to go.

 

I will take the time to bone up on the latest tips on blogging, social media, etc.

Trust no one and you'll never be disappointed.

 

as long as they respond to your emails and perform what they advertise. If not what do suggest I do send them a hadwritten letter? I'm not spending the money to call those lying jerks.

 

this is not true that Indian companies are spammers..you should verified the company and sample before pass the money you guys done mistake because i also hired Indian freelancer for my work they guys done a good job..

Paul ended up with some people who didn't knew SEO because he didn't do a pre-study

Well 3 things to keep in mind :

1.) Learn SEO yourself, it will be FREE , Also warm welcome to DP as I see your joining date as APRIL 09 , So have a good time here. Keep reading different threads, its a big ocean

2.) Before choosing any service provider , you need to do a due diligence check, reference, emails, calls, case studies instead of complaining after selecting them.

3.) Its not limited to country specific, there are people around different parts of world who claim to be champions of SEO knowing very little knowledge, anyways some learn by experience or some learn by reading DP forums, I wish atleast your thread will help out people who join the forum before selecting a service provider. So some may be they learn by others experience.

In this SEO world scammers are everywhere not only in India so do not blame the total SEO experts in India.

Before you choose the company, you should investigate about their services and policies as well.

Communicate with their existing clients, they will give more information about that company.

Better you can learn SEO yourself via DP forum. They will guide you and help you.

I'll take devote as working full time on your project until completed. 3 developers times 160 hours in a month = 480 man hours. Divide this by $200 and they are earning just under $.42 an hour.

I'm sorry that they wasted your money. If there is a way you can get a refund, I would definitely go that route. And next time call the SEO person on the phone to get a sense of what they will do to help you. $200 may not even cover the onpage optimization of your site. And for smaller sites, it is the offpage optmization which is costly.

 

yes you don't blame to all indian seo . if you cheated by any one thats your foult becoz you dont have any info about that company before send payment confirm all things ok

and lession no one do seo for 200$ per month

 

I am not an Indian, but I do not like people generalizing races.. But india has to do something as well, too many fly by night companies there since there are lots of developers in that country too.
