Hello All, I've been absent for about a while from this forum, was busy with some offline stuff, but I've been working hard the past few weeks on my new product, and now I'm oficially back. I'm proud to announce the new product - Easy Backup Wizard, which is a product for creating perfect backup copies of all major gaming consoles including: Xbox, Xbox 360, PS1, PS2, PS3, Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii. The product also supports the creation of backup copies of Video DVDs. The main page is: http://www.easybackupwizard.com The Page has been tested using PPC, and it has produced a fairly impressive conversion rate. If you promote this product with a proper landing page, and bring targeted traffic, the conversion rate could be below 1:20 . I have created a variety of professional affiliate resources for this product including: landing pages, keywords list, banners and more. To view the affiliate resources for this product visit: http://www.easybackupwizard.com/affiliate resources/affiliate_re.html The Clickbank id of this product is ezbackup, an affiliate link would look like http://xxx.ezbackup.hop.clickbank.net , Replace xxx with your Clickbank affiliate ID. This product converts! TRIED AND TESTED! Here's a screenshots of the conversions gotten while doing PPC: NOTE: I just picked a few keywords and sent some traffic, I reckon the conversion rate will be improved as the campaign is optimized.
Finally! A non-conventional sales / product page. I might look into this after some research. edit: few questions: do you need modified firmware for the consoles to run backup discs? do you need to do any tricks with the dvd writer in your pc in order to use your software? and in your faq you write it work's with every Mac Operative system.. that is operatING system is guess
Thanks, actually I'm a big fan of this unconventional sites. The previous two I did (www.homebreware.com and www.pocketdownloadcenter.com) were also with a short yet effective sales page
In most cases you do need modified firmware, or have your console unlocked to play backup copies in order to use this No, no tampering with the cd/dvd writer is required You're right about that, I'm gonna fix it Great, I look forward to having you onboard, hope all goes well.
Wow if you're getting a 1:20 conversion on that page, imagine what you could get if you tweaked it a little (hint hint ;-P) I love your simple approach. And it certainly looks to be paying off. I'd just suggest doing some of the following: 1. Get rid of the focus on teh text - make it more image focused 2. Pump out a list of benefits... like what they can use it for (I'd imagine things like helping their friends play their games or just protecting their games from damage etc). 3. Make the call to action a lot clearer and bigger 4. Make the branding a little more exciting - like add a little character or something... kinda like these guys http://www.slysoft.com/en/clonecd.html Otherwise it looks really good! Rich
Nice site ripped.. btw.. you are getting a pasting on the wii boards.. some hardcore gamerz do not like you very much also I guess since the March 25 2009 Update Wii Update your homebreware is obsolete.. no more 'Twilight SD Hack'.. Good luck with this new site though its looks well done.. but make the console graphics bigger and a few more points that rich mentioned.. Your designer must be an ex apple employee as all your sites have that nice clean look to them
Could you elaborate a little bit that please? I'm not very familiar with this stuff. Also, copying PS3 games wouldn't require you to have a bluray burner?
I have sold homebreware 3 months ago. It is still doing well and has around 60 gravity. The method described in homebreware still works. Yes there are updates by Nintendo Wii that disable the twilight hack, however only a very small percentage of the people connect their Wii to the internet to update the wii, so it doesn't affect the product that much. I will work on improving the sales page by making a bigger call of action and doing some other changes as well.
I was referring to his other site homebreware.com not this backup DVD / games one being promoted. The homebreware was using something called the "Wii SD Card Twilight Hack" which opend your Wii up to the Homebreware channel etc as promoted on the site. However statistics say over 70% of people connect their Wii to the internet and Ninentedo releases updates frequently and the last update 25 March 2009 disabled this hack from working. So unless you know about gaming mods /hacks etc you most likely would update and then not be able to play Homebreware. All this information is free on hackmii.com but I think ripped did well to see an opportunity and compile a guide, but the hardcore gamerz who invented this hack are pissed at people who profit from their expertise and knowledge, as you know the gaming community is very tribal.
How are conversions on this product now that you have had a few days? (feel free to PM info if you don't want to post it yet)
I haven't been much online these past two days, had a very nasty flu, could barely get out of bed, I stopped all my PPC testing on this product for the time being an concentrated on getting better. Now I'm feeling a bit better, and I'm ready to get back to work. I don't have that much traffic so that I can provide comprehensive data about this product. Most affiliates that promoted this product sent very little traffic Still, some of them managed to get a conversion (3 affiliates have made at least 1 sale for this product to be exact) Here's a screenshot from yesterday, I got very little traffic and got 2 sales from the affiliates On the other hand, there were some other affs which had around 40 hops, but no sales, which means you have to bring targeted traffic and presell the product effectively. I'm also working on an alternative sales page with a bigger call of action, which should improve conversions even more.
The past couple of days, I didn't get too much traffic, but I got one serious affiliate which sent targeted PPC traffic, and he converted at 1:5 .. And I'm not joking about this, here's the screenshot. Gravity is already at 4.66, meaning this product looks like a winner. If promoted right, with the proper pre-sell page, it can convert like crazy!
Just an update, since some of you wanted an alternative sales page, which has the GameCopyPro approach, I created such a page. Simply add the ?lp=alt parameter at the end of the hoplink to access the alternative sales page: http://xxxxx.ezbackup.hop.clickbank.net/?lp=alt The default page is the THIS ONE The default sales page converts well, but If you want to experiment, you can try the new one as well. The product has been steadily rising, and it has reached a 6.5 gravity so far.
Thanks, the thing is, I haven't tested the new sales page, and I cannot guarantee that it converts, I'd need to test it, in order to see if it will convert better than the default one. Since the default page converts well, I'm gonna leave it as it is until I have the alternative sales page tested properly. If it converts better, I will use that one. I don't want to put an untested sales page.
