I've been around a little while now and have noticed a few things mostly in the Sites section. 1. The best "Sites For Sell" are from people with 0 itraders 2. The best bids on good sites are from people with 0 itraders (they usually bid over the BIN) 3. Sellers who state "Copyscaped Passed" usually have a good backup reason why it didn't pass copyscape after you check. 4. Sellers who say, "wiretranfers and western union payments only" have obviously found this mode of payment more successful for their legit businesses than paypal or escrow. 5. People who usually use horrible English in their ads usually have even worse English on the blogs they are selling. 6. People have a tendency to cheat themselves when they are trying to sell that new website which made, "$1200 dollars in 3 days" for $250 BIN. 7. "Established Site For Sale With Revenue" means it has been online for at least 24 hours and has made at least 1 cent from Google. 8. "100% unique content" often means Refer back to #3 9. "Site With Great Potential" usually means, I haven't made a Damn Thing with this site maybe I can if I can unload it. 10. 1 out of every 4, "Newly Established Website" is made with, "The Revolution Theme". 11. Warez site owners choose on their own not to use adsense because they make more money with other services, but you can use adsense if you so choose. 12. Poorly made sites for sell always get really good, "Bids by PM" by buyers who want to remain anonymous. 13. "Make Money Online" and "Make Money With Adsense" website owners are usually in the majority in the Google section asking why they are not making any money (online, offline, with or without adsense). 14. Sites that sell links to boost your Pagerank usually have PR0 andddddd 15. Scammers who are caught by DP Members usually luckily sell their sites immediately. You can tell because all of a sudden they post: "Site Sold! Moderator Please Close This Thread" Anything I Missed 13.
I couldn't have said it better my friend. All the facts below are true and we should be aware that the number of scammers increased lately.
First off that is why decent content writers get people looking for them and return clients, if they promise copyscape passed and unique content then honest business people have usually run it through copyscape themself and only sell it if it does pass copyscape! But as for.... 13. Those who get scammed and then are honest enough to leave -iTrader, when they are new, often get left -iTrader in return (by the scammer). I've seen that happen to so many people, but as for the rest then you've hit the nail on the head, though like I said, there are some I have slightly disagree with.
14. Most of the E-book sellers in the BST forums that claim to make them 5K$ per month or $10k are total newbies and i doubt if the total sum of amounts they had ever had in their paypal would be equal to 5K USD.
Another one is the selling line of: "Unique template" and you find out it is a freely distributed template but what make it "Unique" is they changed the color.
There are some incredibly good apples too. You just have to sift through an awful lot of crap to find them.
With any free marketplace like this you will have bad apple and good apples you just need to be careful.
This, as well as any promise that the content will pass copyscape and be of any kind of acceptable quality just baffles me. A lot of people making these very basic promises can't even write a good advertisement for themselves. Why would anyone expect them to deliver the goods? Astounding to me that some of these sellers have any itrader points at all, but I suppose when you are charging $.00004 a word there are bound to be some takers
