It actually depend on what games do you want to play. I have an Xbox 360 because all my favorite games title are on that platform. - Dynashox -
Wii is fun in the beginning, but after a while it gets quite borring. Pro Wii = unique gameplay Pro Xbox360 = better graphics = more games = better system performance
The Wii is great when you first get it, but I find the novelty soon wears off. The 360 has better games, graphics and online gameplay...in my opinion Xbox 360 all the way
I have both, and I like the Wii better, and I would consider myself more of a hardcore gamer. They are both very unique though, and I enjoy playing both of them. If you like first person shooters, Nintendo franchise games (Zelda, Metroid, Mario, etc.), or playing games with your family get the Wii. If you prefer sports games, put lots of stock in graphics, or like more mature games I would go with the 360.
I will have to go with Wii. Im a nintendo fanboy been a loyal customer since back in the NES days... Nothing really makes me want to buy a 360 but im a casual gamer now. And when I play a game I dont want it to be the most realistic game because I play games to take a vacation from the reality of life. Yes 360 is a great console but will never choose it over my Wii.
I will be also going for Xbox360. Its the best I think... !! You would love it for sure... ! Just go for it !
The XBOX360 for me. It's more for the hardcore gamer though. If you have little kids, I'd get a wii as it's fun for all the family.
I already know the feeling of that, I took it into radio shack got it repaired for $260. (Yes I know just buy a new one for that price) Broke 8 months later, sold the damn broken machine for $50
