Metal Detecting anyone?

    Hey Guys,

    Just wondering if there is anyone here who enjoys the hobbies of Metal Detecting?

    I love it and run a small service helping people find there Lost Jewellery and Rings at beachs and parks etc

    I've honestly wanted to try it, never got around to buying the actual detector though :p

    I find it rather interesting. though haven't got any experience or the time...
    and btw, nice blog...and that gold pendant was a pretty good find :D

    Yeah I've got a metal detector (a cheap Tracker IV), but I've barely used it. Especially over summer, it's impossible to dig anything out of the ground here when the ground is like concrete.

    This is certainly very unique service and hopefully, you must be winning many hearts doing it.

    Btw...what is the success ratio? Do you generally find everything that you begin the search for? :rolleyes:

    On a lighter note,
    Perth is anyway rich in oil and mineral reserves...Were you able to strike black gold by chance? :eek:

    most of the time could end up with junk rather than valueble item. not the type of hobby i like
