You must've been given an infraction. Most likely for posting just for increasing your post count.

    Check out your UserCP.

I checked. No infraction on that.

I believe mods won't do that without giving any notice?

This might be the server's problem?

More likely a server/database problem. Mods aren't going to delete 400 posts from the same person.

There might be a database issue -

Yeah... Must be a database problem. I also lost my posts, but glad it not much. Seen another member who also lost hundreds of post before.

Database error would be the only answer if mods have not been involved.

That actually happens? Is that like one word posts or quoting everything and posting "lol" or something?

Sometimes Mods delete some threads. If you have replied in those threads your posts also get deleted. May be this is a reason.

Most likely. But I am not that type.

I hope so too. But it happened. :(

I made those posts during my exam period. (I online at DP so often even I got exam!)

Impossible. I think they wouldn't delete 400 threads in just a few hours.

Anyway, there's nothing I can do to recover them so it doesn't matter.

    Thank you for the replies.

    (actually I am sad!)

I think that right there is probably the most likely scenario. I have seen two threads closed just a little while ago. So if they delete them all together you would lose your post count. Maybe the "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" theory applies here. If that is the case, of course.

I do observe my posts getting deleted every occasional day...sometimes it is just one or two....maximum being 05 so far.

But 400 posts in a single day...that is scary!

I remember reading the thread as suggested by DON, and I had assumed that such higher deletion were restricted to only 10000+ post members....but I guess....I was wrong. :(

As regards OP, there is nothing one can do except....FORGET AND MOVE ON!

    Regards,

    RightMan

I believe if they remove posts for spam .. they won't remove up to 400 Posts,

So, I think it's just a database error.

You posted a lot of zero-value posts that a mod considered post padding. They deleted them.
