Not that I know of. It's a win-win-win:

1) Peter is experimenting with his socially-driven directory so he needs businesses to list
2) You want traffic and link juice
3) Directory users want to find businesses and see what people are saying about them.

Seems legit to me. But as they say "Let the buyer (or in this case, the registrant) beware."
