    Well what a day.
Core Hoster has been hacked i have 60+ clients with them all lost data.
How could a company as good as them allow this to happen.
And to top it of all backups are gone,I do tell my clients to make regular backups but most of them havent.

All my clients accounts are gone my account has gone.
What are they doing about it,No one knows as there support is down.

This has messed my business up real bad,I have 60% of my clients on there servers.

Like to hear any1 else probs if you are with core hoster

Good companies pay there bills and as I see this company has not, they weren't hacked the person they were renting there VPS's from wiped the servers.

Ye like now you have no account all your clients accounts are gone to me thats very serious.
This could destroy more than half my hosting income.
I got an email from them telling me about the hacker and may not be able to restore backups.

So if they have no backups of your account you have to redo all your clients accounts from scratch

Well first of all, I used to have an account with them just to send emails out and just to find out I checked there cpanel license and it was registered to a vps. Also I contacted the company that owns the servers to see if I can get a backup of my emails and they said they were already wiped.

I am not sure which server you are on, I would say to check the cpanel license and it should say the registrant of the license there which should in fact be the company that owns the server. If not then just whois the IP and you will get your answer that way.

I meant that they could have different servers with different companies so its better just to double check, but the company I tracked mine down to is softlayer.

Also greencore servers mean nothing, how do you really know that the server is runing on natural power? did they show you. Many companies now are saying there servers are green cores just to make sales but in reality there actually not.

    Softlayer chat

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately, I cannot confirm or deny that due to our Privacy Policy. Also it would be very hard for me to find that information because they could be a reseller of a reseller and may not have a direct account with us
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    So thats a dead end

Any reliable host would have off-site back-ups to minimize damage. Their own site isn't even up yet which probably means they didn't even keep an old back-up of their own website possibly. If the server was really hacked, they would've at least had their own main site up with an announcement or notice to all the clients before anything.
