And moreover its proven from the past experience that a link from Yahoo answer helps n boosting your ranking and indexing,

 

Link building isn't the real benefits of a yahoo answers link, it's the visitors that come from it One of my sites gets a -lot- of traffic from there and some popular answers.

 

Its true that Yahoo Answers is no follow but they actually perform really well in Google and we see a number of clicks from Yahoo Answers as a result. They have cracked down on "link dropping" though and will suspend accounts that do it.

I agree that u get click from yahoo answers. but is there any benefit of it if the link is nofollow?

 

You're still getting traffic from it and your still getting a backlink from it so there is definitely a benefit.

In my opinion, the only down side of it is because it's nofollow there is no way I can track how much traffic is coming from the links I put on there...

Yahoo Answer can be a good source of traffic if you participate regularly and it will send you visitors as long as your posts are there and yahoo answer is alive. There are many tools to automatically notify you of new posts for the keywords you set so that you can immediately reply to them.

If you want more than, create few account and ask a question yourself and answer it and make sure to do a good keyword research and target them on that post.

I especially like the one idea of asking a question with one account and then answering your own question with another account!!

 

Since Yahoo answers are now nofollow some of the value of this process may be minimized. Does anyone know if using Yahoo Answers content on their blog will hurt the blog SERP ratings?

 

Just an FYI because I didnt realize this until just now. Most of you probably already know this, but just incase you didnt... Hits from Yahoo answers are shown in Awstats next to "Yahoo!" under "Referring search engines". Same spot where it shows hits from Digg also

 

Yahoo answer is one of the best way to get targeted traffic based on my experience. The cost is much chepaest than PPC. I'm getting more than 40 UV from yahoo answer daily and happy with that since they providing high click rate and conversion rate

 

To all personnel concerned about NO Follow..
It just stop PageRank Flow and nothing else..It counts as a backlink and a link from webpage having yahoo.com in its url is worth it
