    Build quality content and get a good number of high quality, relevant backlinks. You will move up the search engine rankings and increase visitors. Give them something to come back for so that you retain visitors and get returning ones.

    Sadly sometimes this can be the truth.... I have a couple sites that don't have much content yet and the site gets many clicks cause people are not finding what they want. Other sites I have that people find the info there looking for or what there trying to accomplish (games,tools,etc) don't get many clicks.
