if my article Is 450 Words then how much time i add our keyword in that articles.

for example my keyword is "car racing information" also "car racing"

now i target this 2 keyword so how many times i add this keywords in articles is good?

There should be 6-10% keyword density in you article. As you said you have 450 words, then your keywords density should be 27-45 words.

these two are not different keywords but different phrase. All the keywords would be counted individually. like car, racing and information. hope you got it..

I read many different versions. A book on SE marketing said 7%, other people say around this. It is not quite clear what is the best ratio. This kind of information is not made public by Google. I think you should stay around the 5% to 7% and concentrate the rest of your effort on link building. This ratio should give among the best results.

They are referring to keyword density. It really doesn't matter. Just make sure you include the targeted keywords a few times in the copy.

7% keyword density (32 instances in a 450 word article) would look like computer generated gibberish. Write for humans, not the search engine bots.

The perfect density of keyword needed is around 3-5% and it should not exceed more than 8%. try using good unique content with proper amount of keyword and this will surely help you to get what you want.

I personally start with the title - e.g Car Racing : The benefits of oiling your steering wheel
Just write naturally without thinking of keyword density. when correcting and reading over what you have read, you can now sprinkle some keywords( where relevant ) .
If you keep to the 7% - 10 % - its ok - Sometimes I don't bother about keyword density and it still ranks high. By the time you write sensibly about the subject, Google will recognise the article as being high quality.

I guess I'm way to conservative because I do it at 1%, which happens to be the rule at the major article directories.

I have articles that are similar length and I have keywords in the articles 16 to 18 times. That would be about 4% of the article. Just use google's rules...

I believe the phrase also matters as opposed to just the individual words. A 10% density sounds good, just as long as your not keyword stuffing. Try to keep the articles sounding natural.
