I think an average of 3 - 5 posts per week is ok, but you have to make sure the quality of your posts is good and remain consistent on the quantity of posts per week.
Unless you are doing breaking news, or financial information...I think that is overkill. I'll bet you are probably stuffing the keywords in generously too. You can't rush the SEO process, and natural serp results...it is what it is, and it takes the time it takes. One thing you can do is break a story, be the first to write about a hot topic. That may get you some good reads and a lot of natural links from traffic sources, but just throwing up 20 posts a day of just articles....I think that effort would be better spend spread around article marketing sites for back links, and posting at the most 2 posts a day....like I said, unless it's breaking news, stocks, or something like that.
i run a wordpress classifieds site, which make me around 200 post per day , after few week of my site launching, google indexing (300 page), yahoo (60 page), daily traffic from search engine 10 - 15. Now i plan to purchase Classipress theme to make my wp look more like classifieds site Am i doing the right thing ???
Normal correct etiquette would be to start your own thread, and not hijack someone elses, but, to answer...anytime you spend money to make your blog more professional it's not a bad thing. as long as you have the content to back it up, you are never wasting money on professionalism. (within reason of course). Believe me, with a blog, The more committed you are to it in time and finance, the more you will work your ass off to make it great.
I agree, just thinking that say if someone invests $100 or more in a decent theme its going to push them more to make money with that blog, even if its to just pay for that theme that they invested in.
old myth said that duin 6-9 post a day for about first 2weeks can make your blog got indexed faster on google network.. just try it..
You can actually update as much post as you can, as long as all your blog posts are unique and fresh. You can even update 3posts in a week, if 3 of them are unique and fresh content, Google will appreciate it. If you update 3 awesome posts in a week, it's better than 20 rubbish posts in a week.
Yes can apprieciate that quality does come over quantity but i also should still stress that regularly updating keeps visitors coming back for more.
