The value of a click is determined by the niche you are blogging about. I learnt this a while ago when i got 17 clicks on my paypal blog http://paypalissues.blogspot.com The total value was $10.7 So it is advisable to write on well paying niches...the only problem would be...which are they?
All niches where the advertisers have a high ROI (return on investment). Medical niches, real estate and all that.
mine www.medicalrules.com health site some time give me $0.04 for one click some time $0.50 its depend on the keywords and ads provided relevant to those keywords
I've been using a piece of software called Keyword Elite to find this out, you can find the link in my signature. I then write a few articles about the subject under some high traffic low competition keywords, then blog about it with adsense. and maybe do a few $50 adword campaigns-placement ads It is quite complicated to use and do, but the return is fantastic, I'm getting a good amount each day from each of these, If I can find an affiliate program related to it I will try and push that on these blogs too. simple little system that is a good part-time earner hope this helps a bit
And who is going to read your "expert" advice? Sure you need to pick a niche with large profit potential, but just to select something and start writing is not going to make you any money. You need a business plan. Too many people waste time building first then trying to figure out some way to make something out of what they have built. Figure out you plan first or you are just wasting your time. This board is full of people who fail to plan.
