link in the blog post is better if the article/content is related to the website you link.

normally a website/blog, you can link a lot different blog in ur blog roll, for example, my blog related to technology and computer. those link in my blog roll can be a cake related blog, wedding related blog, or some else.

if let said i am writing an article related to ink cartridge, and link to their website, is more worth then the link appear in my blogroll.

on the other example, let said i am writing a wedding event that i attend on my blog , and link to the wedding website. the link in the blogpost definitely more worth then blogroll.

but..... 1 more thing i was curious, since blogroll link are always appear on front page, while a blog post might fall in to deep link after few month or few year later. Shall we vote blogroll link more worth?

site wide links on blogs as well as footer links will generally have a lower value - than links inside articles

Blog roll link will consider blogwide link means it will show on every post and in blog post it will be limited to that particular URL only so it would be nice choice to have link at blogroll

I think blogroll links win out in the end. If your link is in a blogpost it will do well while the post is on the blog's homepage where the PR is likely to be highest. However, as the post containing your link slips off the homepage as new posts are made on the blog, the link in the post rapidly devalues.

I think both have their pro's and con's. To me it depends on the website and how much influence the blogger has. If the blogger has a lot of influence than posts, if the blogger just brings in massive traffic then blogroll. There are a lot of factors but if the blog is quality either way is a win.

depends on several factors. if you are buying a health term link on blogroll of a poker site blogroll, it wont worth much. but if you get a blogpost on a relevant blog, you will get good link value. blogpost links are considered contextual links which always worth more than sitewide or footer links. another point to consider is that, blogpost is permanent where blogroll links are monthly or yearly. if someone sells permanent blogroll link, then you need to worry as i have seen lot of people selling permanent links on their entire sites then dont renew the domain/hosting at the end of the year.
