Email Marketing Tips!

Hi,

I want to do bulk mailing for my services. I previously used a self developed application for mass mailing and hosted that application at my own site for which I am planning to do bulk mailing but after sending only 1000-1500 emails, I noticed Google stopped to cache my home page and I lost my all ranking on Google. I think this was the case of server busy by which Googlebot couldn't read my webpage's content.

I want to do mass mailing. Could someone please let me know here what are the factors (technical) which make email marketing successive?

Thanks a lot Vben for PDF file. Its really interesting to me. But I need more information on email marketing like what is the role of Mail Server (MX Record) of domain while sending bulk mailing? What are the points I have to care about to reach in user's inbox? What will be the right format to send bulk mails HTML/Text/Image? What kind of filters are in common use?

I am not talking about any software, but would like to tell you about general email marketing tips.
1. make sure that the subject is interesting and a catchy one.
2. do send email until you have a great product.
3. use a simple language and correct grammar.
4. be professional and write such a professional email.
