I have had over 2000 clicks from cpm and cpc advertisements on adbrite that did not result in any sales. I am selling a marketing ebook. Does anyone have any advice to increase sales?

    thanks

Probably crap clicks. Not surprising with eBooks.

Right, prepare for some nasty criticism, but then, you asked for it... LOL :D

    1. The header s***s. You're not selling DeltaForce cheats. Why the blood?

    2. Sort out your titles. At the moment, the most prominent thing is "Site Marketing Strategy" which doesn't work at all.
Then there is this micro-font "A million dollar code..." which is too small and then there is "Take your website to the..." which is too long for a title

    3. I would avoid mentioning "millions" and "mega-wealth". Judging from your screenshots of 2005 (oh my good...couldn't you fake it better?) you're not making more than 80,000 per year. So, you better promise steady income or comfortable living or something like that.

    4. The first couple of paragraphs are a mess. Too long paragraphs and too much chaotic bolds.

    5. My fifteen year education bit... it doesn't explain how it is risk free. It has to do so immediately. Try to elaborate on the Risk Free bit because that is very important.

    6. Avoid negative statements. "Don’t believe me?" of course I don't - glad you asked :D "Still Unsure?" I am indeed!

    7. What do I get in the program: needs to be more prominent. It gets pushed to the background, especially with this big red PROOF that follows.

    8. Let me notice the bonus. I read the "I want to make this a complete blah blah blah" bit and skip the Bonus #1 bit because by the time I reach it I'm asleep. Start that subtitle with BONUS... scream about it. You're giving stuff for free.

    9. I've tried to figure out how much was the book. I understood it was $199.99 and it took me 5 times to grasp the $9.99
OK, so, which price should be big and bold - the one that makes you going "oh my sh**" or the one that makes you going "oh, well, that's a good price"??? Eh?

    10. That background... My cat's turd looks better...

Yeah, sorry, but I'm going to have to go along with that.

I would strongly suggest giving a few tips for free, to show your visitors you know your stuff.

Then again, do you know what you are talking about?

One thing that stuck out like a sore thumb: You stated this in your site:

Yet you started a thread titled: "conversion rate 0% (from 2,000 clicks)"???

What am I missing here, if anything?

I love it when people ask questions on how to market their marketing product! It is my second favorite post type, second only to people asking how to get traffic to their SEO product site!

It is tough to sell a marketing book if you yourself don't even know how to market it. With a lot of marketing books it takes having people co-sign on it or endorse it. Better yet having a name yourself in the marketing industry where people want to know how you do things. These type of e-books have really been dying in the past couple years.

Believe it or not forums are pretty good for selling eBooks.

Warrior Forum Special Offers section - Only $20 to advertise
Here at DP - not sure how much$$

Make sure its a good eBook though!

By the sounds of it, you're receiving nothing but crap clicks, change provider or maybe move to PPC.

Joint Ventures could work for you also.
