Hey guys, I need some of you experts to help me out here. I have a video on Youtube that's related to one of my niches and it recieves 3500-4000 hits on average per day. I only receive 80-100 visitors that follow through, through that link I have to my site. I know there must be a better way to monetize that traffic to get more visitors to my site. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVdkKnSqRlY Any tips or advice would be MUCH, MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance, -AJ
Embed the full vid on your page Give users something else thats not on the youtube Tell people where to go to watch the full one - and get the new "thing" on your page Checkout the link in my sig for what to do next.
Did you optimize the video for SEO (keywords in the file name etc..)? Also, put it in an RSS feed and post it to videocasting websites.
Why is the video description filled with That does not look very professional. Use the video description for targeted keywords. Besides the video description, apply for a youtube partner account.
Email your friends the link to youtube. It will increase you more hits and you will get a Good ranking. Youtube play a game of high hits and on top and when you are on top then you can get Good hits a day for free but to get on top you have to refer it on your blog or email it to your friends and other stuff.
I filled in the video description with dots because I have a whole bunch of keywords below that and I want the url to be visible. So far the annotation has brought me in on average 70 visitors to the site per day. There has to be a way to bring in more people. I mean at least 400-500 visitors out of the 4000 people that see the vid a day seems pretty feasible. I already have the traffic to my vid, I just want more people to my site. Any suggestions? Maybe the annotation?
for the small step to the goal I think you better use Google Video sitemaps before the optimizations ,then start embedded it your article submission and wait for the result
Amazing what a little change of words in the annotation does. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVdkKnSqRlY I've nearly doubled the traffic I was getting. Although for the amount of impressions I'm getting on my Adsense ads, I've noticed a much lower CTR because people come in with the mindset of finding that video mentioned. But when they don't find it, they leave...... Maybe I should find a video of somebody's foot getting crushed by that rc car..... lol
Youtube is one of the most visited site everyday so it gives the higher chances of getting sales through it.Well,as an addition you can try to spread your video to all your friends then don't just focus in making videos instead make other ways of advertisement for more traffic.
Ah I see it now. So the problem with your video is that the description is in the last. It should be on top so that your URL would be visible in the lower end and people will also want to know more about tis description so don't wqorry if your URL is in the last row.
