I heard it's REALLY good. I think i'm going to go rent it when it comes out. Which I believe is on the 30th?!?

I loved Slumdog Millionaire, but I think it was sub-par compared to The Wrestler. I was genuinely upset when The Wrestler got snubbed in Oscar nominations. My list for top five movies of 2008 are:

1. The Wrestler
2. Slumdog Millionaire
3. Milk
4. The Counterfeiters
5. Frost/Nixon

But I digress. Definitely purchase Slumdog Millionaire. A rental is just that: A short love affair with a wonderful movie which will leave you wanting more.

 

I liked it too .. but does it deserve 8 oscars ....

What a great movie! Well worth the price and I plan to buy it and watch it multiple times. Glad it got the recognition it deserved!

 

Ya it was a good movie, but not a great movie..... It won 8 Oscar's just because no other Hollywood movie was better.....
