Thanks..I will be buying a VPS in few weeks and this li'l tip is of great help.. the plan prices in the site are really tempting but since its new, it cant be guaranteed..
I know this has probably been asked somewhere in the 748 pages but: At what point should I sell my proxy and for how much?
Its better to sell after one month. It won't be banned in much places and the buyer wont shout back saying the traffic has died down. Depending on the traffic quality and quantity and earnings, sell it for 1-3X..with 3X being the case when you have the best traffic and earning..
you should try either of these http://www.santrex.net/vps.php or http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1269641 they are the cheapest vps that i am able to find
hey guys what do you think about the word proxee, do you think it should be ok or will it get filtered also
I got like 40 but only 10 get ok traffic. my vps spec is quad core, 1gb ram and 1TB trafic. I run out of bandwidth fast this month so I need bigger host but most of them dont provide 2TB+ bandwidth at cheap price. I'm negotiating with my current host for more bandwidth it it wont work out I'm thinking will go to wdservers though if my budget is enough. any other hosting recommend?
did you set limits for the users on your proxies? you may try clandrive.com, i have been with them for dedicated server since 6months now and they have great support and services. They provide 2tb bandwidth for all dedicated servers and you may also have a custom plan if you want a vps, but for either of them you need to contact them through support or dp forum
may be you can check VPSLand.com How much are you paying right now and who is your host?? you can get custom plans from tmzhosting too..though I am a shared proxy hosting customer they do a lot for customers. you can also check out this "PRO VDS #1" plan from fdcservers..may suit you These three, i.e tmz, wds, fdc are one of the best when it comes to proxy hosting.
Facebook work on anybodies proxy sites here? I've tried several proxy sites on different IP networks like FDC, Theplanet, Pacific Rack, and even a 38.x.xx.xx range from Cogent from (secure-tunnel.com) and it appears they have blocked them all. I would think Facebook is having a full on assault at blocking proxy sites, they really are blocking alot of IP? The only I've found to work are ones that are on offshore IPs, like France or Germany. This makes this business too hostile if you have to work around blocks not just from filter but from the sites themselves that people are trying to view, eh? IPs are not easy to get as domains.. This is really terrible!
Not sure its an ip block or what. My site has never been fully compatible with facebook but you can login using it and move around a little. Its on a FDC ip just tried right now and was able to login and look at my facebook profile.
If I had to guess I'd say there is an issue with glype right now. Is this just glype that people are having problems? I'm trying to find the cause for that issue as well.
Hey nux your right I just installed CGIProxy, and it works fine.. This is really wierd. There is something wrong with Glype.
