I have removed the COOP from all of my websites

The Coop forum is indexed, but not the tools page:

There is definitely no accuse! This COOP is just cheating people. As I already said before I got nothing back from all my efforts but the COOP got a lot from me. I feel hoaxed! I already removed the COOP from a site that has more than 350,000 impressions per DAY. Maybe I'll program something similar myself. f you are an experienced software specialist it's not THAT hard to do.

When I looked at this site first I got the impression this isn't done very professional. I should have believed myself. It is not professional. Looks to me like it's run by amateurs only.

 

Then do it instead of whining

I have had the same experience...sites that had 60k weight down to less than 1k. Like Joey I have gone from well over 300k to 1k.
The two sites I was pointing most of the weight to have gone from PR5 to PR0. These were old sites and the weight had been pointed to them for two years so it's not like it came from nowhere.
I think the reason they bombed was because of the sudden drop in links being found as opposed to too many.
I bought this up months ago as did joeychgo when we noticed things going astray, but we were ignored...if some small changes had been made then the COOP wouldn't be in this state now.

As for traffic from the COOP, well I guess it's what the sites about, for some sites I got very little traffic but my free webhosting forum received a ton.

I'm a very loyal type so the sites remain in the coop, except for a couple which have suddenly been found to have a couple of pages without the coop ads on them and they refuse to re-validate. Where those pages came from I don't know and their is no way I can find them to delete them.....it's funny they should show up after two years.

Yes the COOP is on it's death bed, lets hope Shawn can revive it.

 

If you're worried about less appropriate sites draining your PR and possible SERP's then use 'nofollow' on your sites that have co-op ads. It doesn't seem to effect weight very much (I went down 200 with over 20K) but you still get backlinks to help boost PR.
