If I want to find dofollow links related to the automotive industry; how do i go about doing this? Is it a matter of just searching google, or is there some tool or FREE software that will do this?
Here is thread for finding Do-Follow Blogs the Easy Way: http://www.slightlyshadyseo.com/index.php/finding-do-follow-blogs-the-easy-way/ . I have to say it partially works for me.
You just have to check its source and search for rel="nofollow" It means the content gives the no-follow links
Or you could get firefox and install the nodofollow tool, it shows you straight away on screen which links are do follow and which aren't, saves you hours in the long run.
Until now dont find any tool to do it. Only way browse the URL in the (firefox better) and select the link then go for selected source if its not contains nofollow means its dofollow. IE not supportting selected source will show all the source of the page and very difficult to search the link from it
Just to reiterate this point, because I couldn't agree more! This is by far the easiest way to see no/do follow links. Definitely install some kind of plugin that highlights nofollow links, I can't tell you how much time you'll save.
I do have the nodofollow firefox tool...and it is awesome....but is I go to bloger.com, wordpress, or even search blogs on google...the majority are nofollow. The do follow blog directory from above is a great start thought...but i need/want more.
Most compilations of do-follow blogs with high PR are things you have to purchase from the people who put them together. Otherwise, you are going to have to keep looking for them yourself. You might try searching using terms like "link love" or other plugins that typically offer followed links, search the DP forums for more lists, or purchasing a list from someone who is willing to offer you a sample of it to verify it's worthwhile. Hope that helps.
There are no tools or software to find "dofollow" links. You have to think & search for it.I have found list of "dofollow" sites.Hope this sites may help u out.Contact me at seo(at)atbikes(dot)com. With Subject line Dofollow sites link
Go to page source and type rel="no follow" in the search box if you find on following page then it is no follow link. This is the best way to find do follow links, but if you want to search automatically, then download this simple NoDofollow tool.
you need the SEOquake plugin for firefox. it can put a line through any links that are nofollow. It also does alot of really smart SEO stuff. highly recommended.
+1 for SEO Quake here's hoping they come up with a Chrome plug-in that will be nearly as good as the one for FF
Install search status on https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/321. It lets any nofollow link highlighted, so you know what exactly is nofollow on the page. Good for seeing if blog comments are no follow
