    neoproxy (Fused)
    0.49 seconds per 1KB

    dafty (TMZ)
    0.01 seconds per 1KB

    bc3 (Lacehost)
    0.01 seconds per 1KB

    24tunnel (Lacehost)
    0.001 seconds per 1KB

Obviously we can see here which is slowest. ;)

dafty's main page loaded faster for me then neoproxy however loading myspace neoproxy was about 15 seconds faster then dafty. I think the ads are slowing dafty down on the proxified page.

you can, it says "unsolicited mass emails" whereas mailing lists aren't exactly "unsolicited" but with the consent of the subscriber

No, its fine, says "Unsolicited". If you use Google groups. They are OPT IN which means the person agrees to accept email from your group.

I'm planning to step forward for my proxy business. I will invest 200$/month for dedicated server. is it a good idea? because right now I'm on 50$ vps and it's already too small for me. any hosting provider you all will recommend?

May be you need a bigger VPS, from $50 to $200 jump may burn a hole in your profits. try VPS from wdservers and tmzhosting..also checkout FDCservers..

    Not necessarily.
How many proxies do you have on your server?
    What is your VPS specs?

Start small, find another VPS and separate your proxies from the rest of your site. This will greatly improves performance. Tune your proxy vps. Better yet, don't use any control panel, manage your box through SSH.

    Control panel use server's ram.
Without cpanel, you could just learn a few command to create an account, assign an IP. You will get extra ram and storage in return. :)
