How many websites can I have on adsense

Is it okay to have 20 websites with adsense ads? I'm talking about 1 small unit.

 

You can have unlimited sites on adsense. Make sure none of them violate Adsense TOS.

there is no limit. But i have seen many people saying that google banned me because i was earning a lot through it from my lots of sites. So beware.

Its quite possible they could do anything they want.
There have been many incidents, just like paypal who could attack your account and wipe out all the money leaving no note for you.
But as others said yes you can. However you can work hard on fewer sites than going on building the unlimited to earn more money.
