The methods are really great and will get your site indexed on google very quickly.

Great post. I agree with what you say but have never tried Ping-o-Matic

 

Pingomatic is excellent even for sites without RSS feeds.

 

I alternate between Pingomatic and Pingler. Very important to to only do them when your site is updated.

Pingomatic is good...but it is not required for Wordpress atleast....

 

Pingoat is better than Ping-o-matic. Try it!

Digg.com
Reddit
Current.com

Forums or blogs

etc

Nice List. Very useful most especially for the newbies.

 

24hrs is ok, however being a lot more impatient myself than that and having a real penchant for the most incredible whitehat, optimal time saving devices and tools possible, streamlining as many processes as it's possible to achieve, I prefer to have my content indexed and on the first page of Google with an hour, two hours on the outside.

The same goes for brand new websites, although then I guess 24hrs isn't too bad, certainly I'll take my bonus though of that first page position too, for the keywords selected.

For newbies though, some good tips, keep up the good work.

 

On the subject of #9 versus #8 btw, I'd say that for the time expended and the traffic returned, Squidoo is an absolute waste of time over EzineArticles which wins hands down at bringing you in many more visitors, if you like that kind of SEO that is.

Me, I do prefer the content articles to go on my own site rather than some third party site, as per my remarks in my last comment above.

 

That works the fastest for me. A matter of hours.

 

dp is right place to index your pages by doing posting

 

nice list.. but not all of them will get you listed in 24 hours. but if you do all those 10 together, in 2-3 weeks, yes, it worked.

but you have to be very selective..

for example, directory submission is usually not very effective since google devalue their links even the search engine bots visit top PR directory sites.

also forum, the best forums are the forums with over PR5 and faster with vbulletin forum, best with VBSeo permanlinks installed.

best to index is, social bookmarking, ping-o-matic and sitemap. They are a must.

 

I Follow some of them constantly for my new websites, and they work like charm everytime.
THis article will be great for newbies for sure.
